Hyper-Reality Mountain Simulacrum in China

Google Earthlings have found the most bizarre military installation on earth:

In the remote Chinese village of Huangyangtan is a perfect scale-model of a disputed mountainous area along the China/India border, complete with lakes, valleys and snow-capped peaks.
